Why Tiny Homes on Your Own Land Just Make Sense
When we think of tiny living, we think of living with less. Like living in a smaller space, getting rid of all your stuff. Making life feel less in all ways. In reality, this is not even close. The smartest tiny homeowners are doing the opposite. Instead of less life, they are creating more life. How would you like to have more freedom, more income, and also more connection?
The smallest “home” I’ve ever loved
A few years ago, I thought I had it figured out. Bigger van. More gear. All the “right” systems. Solar. Kitchen. Setup for everything. And yet… Something felt off. Too much stuff. Too many things to manage. Too much… inside. Then I saw something that stopped me. A 2007 Honda Fit. Yep. That little car. And somehow… it was a full home on wheels. Check out the full car tour and see how simple “home” can really be.
This Tiny ADU Feels Twice Its Size

In this walkthrough, Jeramy and Kevin from Nanostead break down what actually makes a small space feel big.
Small Spaces and Traditional Layouts
Living in a small space often means thinking a little differently. Traditional layouts do not always work, but with a bit of creativity and planning, even unusual ideas like bunk beds for adults can become smart, space-saving solutions. At the heart of tiny living is a powerful idea: owning less on purpose. When we let go of excess, we free ourselves from constant consumption and make room for what truly matters.
