A Modern Old-World Romance For this shoot, we wanted to create a romantic wedding story with a sense of old-world charm, while keeping it timeless and personal. The beautiful character of the venue was a big part of the inspiration. We wanted to showcase the different spaces and let the setting really be part of the story, taking the couple from the elegant interiors to the surrounding outdoors.
Derek + Brett by Kelsey Cowley
We wanted to embrace the history and character of Lake Arrowhead Lodge. Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love… We’re Brett and Derek, and we live in Los Angeles. We’ve been together for about nine years. We’re happiest in the little rituals of everyday life: playing pickleball, finding a great Korean or Chinese restaurant, spending time at home with our cats, or planning a trip somewhere new. Our wedding reflected a lot of that.
Crane Brothers x Milan Borich
A Campaign with Character There are models, and then there are people who bring something else entirely to a campaign. Milan Borich is firmly in the latter camp. Frontman of iconic New Zealand rock band Pluto, he has the kind of presence, character and effortless cool that can’t really be styled into existence. It makes him an inspired choice for Crane Brothers’ latest campaign, bringing a distinctive energy to the imagery and a sense of personality that goes well beyond the clothes.
SABEN SS26 Eyewear
Summer Looks Good On You: SABEN‘s New Eyewear Collection Five new frames, a couple of returning favourites and plenty of personality. SABEN‘s latest eyewear collection has arrived just in time for long lunches, summer weddings and wherever the honeymoon takes you next. There are certain accessories that seem to take on greater importance the moment summer arrives. A great pair of sunglasses is one of them.
Chloe + Anish by M. Felt Photography
We pulled a lot of the colours from the Southern Utah landscape Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love… We live in New York City, although neither of us is originally from there: Chloe grew up in Salt Lake City, and Anish was born in India and grew up in Singapore. We’ve both moved around quite a bit for work and, somewhat unexpectedly, now work together too.
sans [ceuticals] repair
Better Together: The sans [ceuticals] Duo Rethinking Hair Repair Colour, bleach, heat, sunshine, salt water and an enthusiastic relationship with the straightener. We ask rather a lot of our hair. New Zealand beauty brand sans [ceuticals] has answered with two clever treatments that approach the problem from different directions, and make particularly good sense when used together. Re-Bond + Seal Hair Treatment 2.0 is the repairer. pH + Shine Corrector is the finishing act.
Zarah + Jack by Cybele Buffile
The venue, Castello di Petrata, in Umbria, Italy, was really the beating heart of the wedding. Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love… Jack has just started his own AI tech company, and I work in pharmaceutical advertising, so on paper we’re seemingly two very technical people. But where we actually connect is through culture, food and travel.
Khanh + Mick by Benjamin Sowry
The Japanese and Vietnamese touches. Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love… We’re Khanh and Mick. We live in Bondi and spend a disproportionate amount of our time around food, with our dog Oli, going to live gigs, crafting things and plotting where to travel next when we’re not frolicking around the world. Khanh has worked across marketing and hospitality, from scaling tech start-ups to staging at Margaret and cheffing at Japanese restaurants.
