I spent yesterday messing around with the new Bambu H2C 3D printer I purchased earlier this month. More on that in a bit. I have also been shopping. I need new clothes (sigh, groan), and also pocket camera accessories. I’m heading to a media event later this month, and for the first time in years, I won’t be bringing my regular full-size camera. I have a pocket camera and just ordered a new action camera. Neither are ideal for a mostly-indoors media event, but I think it’ll be okay.

Bambu’s 4th anniversary sale is starting on 6/15/26, with discounts on various 3D printers, filament, accessories, and more. Darn it – I JUST BOUGHT ONE at its regular price. (See Today at ToolGuyd – I Bought a New 3D Printer.) I didn’t think there would be deals on Bambu’s flagship 3D printers, but there are.

Klein Tools has launched a new 3-drawer ModBox rolling tool box, model 54890MB. If you ask me, this is going to upset competing brands that have fewer choices. The new Klein ModBox 3-drawer tool box has 2 shallow drawers and 1 deep drawer. The shallow drawers give you 3.40″ inches of height and adjustable dividers, for storing hand tools, power tool accessories, and supplies. The larger bottom drawer has a depth of 5.73″ and can fit a range of cordless power tools or other bulky items.

Shown above is the Tenba Fulton V2 14L camera backpack – it’s the bag I’ve taken to media events since I bought it 4 years ago. The Tenba Fulton 14-liter bag is comically small. But it works and is small enough to be considered a personal bag on domestic flights where I also have a larger carry-on bag.

I’ve been shopping for a new travel bag and came across this Carhartt crossbody snap bag. It has a 4.1 liter capacity, measures 11″ tall x 9″ wide x 2″ deep, and features a 600 denier “rain defender” polyester fabric construction. The Amazon listing says it has a 15″ laptop sleeve. There are 5 color options. 4 interior pockets. Fold-over flap with button snaps to keep it in place. The shoulder strap looks fixed to the bag, as opposed to being removable. Not a deal-breaker.

Milwaukee Tool is soon launching a new M18 FUEL 10-1/4″ rear handle circular saw, model 3026. The newest Milwaukee cordless circular saw is “built to take on the toughest structural lumber,” and can cut 4x construction lumber in a single pass. It weighs 10.3 lbs (bare tool), which Milwaukee says makes theirs the lightest 10-1/4″ circular saw on the market. They also say that the new 3026 M18 Fuel rear-handle 10-1/4″ circular saw delivers industry-leading power.

I’ve been late to get my garden started this season, but made some progress yesterday and today. I started my peppers and cucumber plants from seed, and some basil, and bought the same tomato plants (golden cherry) from the garden center – those went in about 2 weeks ago. I also bought some basil from the garden center. It’s not hard work, just time-consuming to get everything into the raised beds. First I hydrated the soil a little. I waited a bit and then watered it some more.

I got home from the supply house and found a pair of Makita nitrile coated work gloves inside a padded envelope. The packing slip said this was a media demo sample. Sweet – thank you Makita! So of course I put in on right away to test the fit. I knew that Makita had work gloves, but forgot that they made coated cut-resistant gloves. This was my first time trying them out. These are the model T-04177 gloves in small/medium size, and T-04123 is for the large/XL size.
