Extremely comfortable. Fully adjustable Pros Size can be adjusted for extreme comfort Easily folded due to non-wired brim Low cost Cons Fabric not UPF rated I purchased one of these boonies after having two consecutive Tilley's shrink on me beyond wearability. Not wishing to waste any more money I went for this as a budget solution and a failsafe option. These hats are "one size fits most" and as a result are extremely comfortable.
Fox 40 Sharx whistle
Extremely loud whistle with a piercing shrill pitch. Pros Lightweight, weather resistant and the newer models have co-moulded rubber for grip. Large selection of easy to see colours. Cons The metal ring attachment for the lanyard attachment is too big and totally unnecessary. This really is a brilliant whistle and is incredibly loud.

Allpowers 100W Foldable Solar Panel SP012
A very powerful, travel-friendly solar charger—portable and ready to use right from the box. On the other hand, it is difficult to align with the sun and it represents just the core of a complex solar power station. Due to the latter’s weight and complexity, its application scope is limited to long unsupported trips with high energy consumption.

LifeStraw Peak Series Water Filter System
Decent filter with a bad design Pros Silicon bottle Large capacity Decent filter with ok flow rate Comes with good back flush plunger Can be used in gravity or straw mode Good company mantra- "for every Lifestraw purchased a child in need receives safe water for an entire year" Cons Slower than dedicated filter Filter inlet 3" from lid means 3" of water can't get filtered Expensive Can't screw onto clean bottle I'm a little surprised that lifestraw kept this design when the Befree is so much...
NiteCore NU33 Reviews - Trailspace
The Nitecore NU33 is a legit headlamp for various uses. It is lightweight, bright but dimmable, very water resistant, and the battery lasts a long time. Pros Bright Comfortable to wear Lightweight Good battery USB-C charging Cons The various button functions sometimes are confusing. I've used this Nitecore NU33 headlamp for many different long-distance backpacking trips. It has served me very well. I got this one because it was rechargeable with a USB-C cord—it doesn't need AA or AAA batteries.
Patagonia Atom Sling 8L
vote up 1 vote down There are three generations. I bought the first generation used. Most are in great shape after years of use. Second generation dropped the pleat but added more space for bigger phones in the strap. Third generation is more teardrop shaped. Pros The back and strap are padded and covered in a breathable fabric with makes long-term wear all day comfortable vs the typical backpack.
Simple Outdoor Solutions 2010 Outsak
Don't buy from this company. Cons The owner My wife's phone autofilled an old address from 10 years ago for some reason. She caught this just after submitting her order. Rather than fixing it, the owner chided her and issued a refund without checking if that is what we wanted. He said the refund would not be a full refund because of the PayPal fee that is nowhere stated on his site. Interaction copied below so you can draw your own conclusions.
