“Tommy Robinson.” There may be no name more radioactive in British politics. Since entering the public eye nearly two decades ago, he has courted controversy at every turn. In 2009, he founded the English Defence League (EDL), a single-issue movement motivated by opposition to Islamic extremism.

Several weeks ago, we announced to you that we’d finally secured an interview with one of the most requested guests in the history of our show: Tommy Robinson. The response was incredible; our number of paid subscribers spiked, our socials were abuzz with conversation, and we received dozens upon dozens of questions for the notorious figure. Nearly two months after we got the ball rolling, there’s no interview.
