Linda Cardellini and Zachary Branch, Crystal Lake Peacock [Warning: The following contains spoilers for the entire first season of Crystal Lake. Read at your own risk!] The eight-episode season of Crystal Lake is now out in its entirety on Peacock, delivering what series creator and showrunner Brad Caleb Kane has referred to as a "spiritual prequel" to the original Friday the 13th.

Matt Smith, House of the Dragon Theo Whiteman/HBO Game of Thrones has proven to be so popular that the fan backlash to the final season of the series hasn't impeded the success of the brand all that much. The spin-off shows House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms have both been hits, and now Warner Bros. is planning a theatrical movie called Aegon's Conquest. The Game of Thrones machine continues on.

Cameron Mathison and Candace Cameron Bure, A Sweet Christmas Anniversary Great American Media Dust off the holiday decor! Following Hallmark's Christmas movie schedule reveal, Great American Family is also getting into the Christmas spirit — and gifting us a lineup of 18 original movies this season. Love Is Blind Adam Rose/Netflix It's been many seasons since we could say that Netflix's Love Is Blind has lived up to its promise of helping people find love. The conclusion of the WandaVision trilogy is bogged down by its own lore Oct. 13, 2026 at 3:06 p.m. PT Paul Bettany, VisionQuest Marvel Television The Vision (Paul Bettany) is not as he should be, not since the Mind Stone — the Infinity Gem that served as his battery, his consciousness, his intellect — was ripped right out of his head by Thanos himself.

Linda Cardellini, Crystal Lake Matt Infante/Peacock Does anyone watch the Friday the 13th franchise for its plot? It's an odd choice for a longform origin story prequel, to be sure. As one of the genre-defining slasher movies of the early 1980s, the original Friday the 13th is a simple tale about a bunch of summer camp counselors getting slaughtered by a mysterious assailant.

Paul Bettany, VisionQuest Marvel Television Though we still have to wait until December for Avengers: Doomsday, one Avenger is back already, with this week's debut of the new series VisionQuest on Disney+. Paul Bettany reprises his role as Marvel's synthezoid hero, in what is being billed as the end of a trilogy of shows that began with 2021's WandaVision and continued with 2024's Agatha All Along.

Linda Cardellini, Crystal Lake Matt Infante/Peacock After a very long wait, the Friday the 13th franchise is finally being revived — and it's doing so by going back to its beginning. The new Peacock series Crystal Lake tells the story of Pamela Voorhees, played by Linda Cardellini.
