Mission 66 is a Bible study series beloved by TWR listeners around the world. This thorough survey of the whole Bible with its clear teaching was first developed by Dr. Luiz Sayão of TWR Brazil. It leads listeners through all 66 books of the Bible in 613 episodes that help them better understand Scripture in a conversational, two-host teaching format.

01 September 2026 [Estimated reading time: 5 minutes] TWR’s Mission 66 program aims to close the widening gap between Bible access and in-depth biblical understanding. Adapted from world-class Bible teacher Dr. Luiz Sayão’s Portuguese commentary, Mission 66 is online and over the airwaves in eight languages across the globe. Three years in, Mission 66 is increasing listeners’ biblical literacy in several of the world’s most spoken languages.

You’re invited to participate with us as we minister to thousands of people affected by recent disasters in Asia. First, on Aug. 15, a 7.7-magnitude earthquake shook East Nusa Tenggara, an island chain in southeastern Indonesia. The powerful temblor, along with significant aftershocks, left dozens dead and thousands homeless. Then, on Aug. 26, a landslide triggered a massive flash flood that left hundreds dead and many hundreds more missing in Nepal and the Tibet Autonomous Region.

“I'm ashamed, how can I overcome this?” asked a man in Thailand, after watching an episode of TWR MOTION's Journey to Hope via a Facebook ad. He met a believer in person, put his faith in Jesus, and asked to be baptized. 19 August 2026 [Estimated reading time: 2 minutes] With ministry partners all over the world, TWR is able to bring hope wherever disaster might strike. On Saturday, Aug. 15, that place was the southeastern Indonesian island chain of East Nusa Tenggara, including Flores Island. Early that morning, residents were awakened to the jolt of a 7.7-magnitude earthquake. Along with strong aftershocks, the temblor left dozens dead and thousands displaced.

18 August 2026 [Estimated reading time: 4 minutes] Ministry teams in Southeast Asia and Russia are using Facebook ads, YouTube channels, chatbots and animated Bible story series — particularly TWR MOTION's Journey to Hope — to engage spiritually open people from Buddhist backgrounds. By meeting felt needs (loneliness, anxiety, relationships) with relevant digital content, teams like Discover Jesus Initiative generate gospel conversations that can lead to discipleship.

17 August 2026 [Estimated reading time: 3 minutes] She met them in a coffee shop, a public place but away from family. “When we met her, she had many questions, especially about salvation,” said Pastor Richard Ravelomanantsoa, the voice of Thru the Bible in Madagascar. Ravelomanantsoa (“It’s very difficult” to pronounce, he said with a warm chuckle) has been presenting the Bible study program in the Malagasy language since 2003, so it’s not unusual for him to hear from listeners.
