The James McNeill Whistler collection debuted to the press at Tate Britain on Tuesday, in what is set to be the largest European display of his work in at least three decades. Accompanied by Carol Jacobi, the curator of this expansive exhibition, we were privy to the interiors of the Tate Britain modelled after Whistler's own artistic visions.

UCL captain Aidan McAvoy scored a late goal to wrap up a tense 1-0 win for UCLFC, after UCLWFC completed a 4-1 demolition of their opposition in the 2026 varsity derby. The Franklin Building was already buzzing before tip-off, fresh off the adrenaline of UCL’s Women’s Netball win. Pre-match warm-ups included dunks from both sides, which drew cheers and engaged the crowd.

Repatriated is a one-man theatre production that fuses film, sound, and immersive design, taking its audience into a dystopian Britain where it interrogates notions of identity, surveillance, and activism. I sat down with Sebastian Senior, the show’s writer, director, and lead actor, to find out more about what Repatriated means to him. How would you describe Repatriated to someone unfamiliar with your work? “It's a political thriller focused on a British-born filmmaker.

Repatriated (2026), written and performed by Sebastian Senior, depicts a dystopian – yet hauntingly realistic – London. In the one-man play, Senior performs as a variety of characters (of various backgrounds, beliefs, and political standings) , also interspersing his free verse with immersive video elements and music. When I saw the play in the Canada Water Library, on May 14th, I was struck by the vivaciousness of Senior’s performance, breathing life and feeling into his evocative plot.

There’s a particular kind of guilt that comes with being a student in London. You’ve found yourself in one of the most extraordinary cities in the world yet, somehow, you’ve managed to spend weeks of rare sunshine oscillating between your desk and the library, occasionally drifting over to the same old coffee shop.

I’ll start with a disclaimer: I haven’t watched Michael, and I don’t plan to. I can appreciate a handful of his songs and the unmistakable aesthetic he cultivated, but there’s something deeply unsettling to me about glorifying the life of a man accused of sexually abusing children – no matter how catchy Man in the Mirror might be. Let’s be honest: none of us know exactly what happened. We weren’t there.

Just over a week later, Iran’s Assembly of Experts announced an unexpected successor: his 56-year-old son, Mojtaba Khamenei. This surprised many, with Trump calling Khamenei’s election ‘unacceptable’ amid stated US aims to bring ‘harmony and peace to Iran’.

For rising star Clavicular, the pre-game is simple: smash your cheekbones with a hammer. "I’ll just lay down on my bed and brace my head so there's no CTE, and then smash my zygomas so that they grow,” he explains, projecting from my screen with the clinical authority of a man recommending his skincare routine. He recommends this regimen, which he calls “bone-smashing”, to his 4.2 million followers. I am, embarrassingly, very tuned in.
