Toward the end of high school when people asked what I was looking for in a college, I always gave them the same answer: "Good academics, not too far away from home and a good study abroad program." Ever since I learned about the concept of studying abroad, I knew I wanted it to be a part of my college experience, and over this winter semester, I was given the opportunity to do just that.

A man was found guilty of murder, among other charges, for killing a university student while driving a stolen U-Haul van on Main St. in April of last year. Gordon Turner, a 23-year-old New Castle resident, was identified as the driver of the stolen vehicle by the Newark Police Department shortly after the incident. He was fleeing from the police when he killed Marina Vasconcelos, a university student, and critically injured another.

When it was announced that Zara Larsson would be the university's spring concert artist this year, my mind went right back to when "Never Forget You" was on the radio in 2015. I can still almost picture it - sitting in my mom's backseat, the wind whipping my hair, the chorus blasting through the car. Back then, I had no idea who was behind the voice. Now, she's impossible to forget. Between 2016 and 2018, Larsson dominated the charts.

I would like to start this review by saying that I have always been a fan of Ryan Gosling. I defended him when he was cast as Ken in "Barbie" (2023), since people were in an uproar about it before the movie even came out, and he showed everyone that he was the perfect choice for the role. Once again, he was the perfect choice to play the main character, Ryland Grace, in "Project Hail Mary," which was adapted from the book of the same name.

Just like that, my college career has ended. I walked the stage and all of the embarrassing, anxiety-inducing and unnecessarily dramatic moments that kept me up at night the last four years suddenly didn't matter. I can't say my college experience was perfect, but it was definitely filled with an abundance of lessons, both about myself and the world around me. So, as I bring my legacy at The Review to a close, here's some advice from a new graduate.

I love reality television. Maybe that's a hot take for some people. I know there are many people out there who are against it, calling it "trashy" reality and denying that it's even real at all. Although that could very well be true, it doesn't take away from how entertaining it is. I think it's especially nice when we, as an audience, get to have a say. We almost feel like we're a part of the show. Take "Dancing with the Stars," for example.

After six grueling months of back-to-back games, division rivalries and the Winter Olympics, where National Hockey League (NHL) players participated for the first time in 12 years, the 2025-26 NHL season has been nothing short of spectacular. Out of 16 teams participating in the playoffs, six had not qualified for them last year.

On March 20, 2026, I got to see one of my favorite artists of all time and have been chasing that high ever since. Before I get into describing my amazing night filled with fun, high energy and great music, I have to introduce the man who made it all happen - Jordan Ward. Jordan Ward is an alternative R&B and Hip Hop artist from St. Louis, Mo. He is known for his combination of intricate vocal performances and upbeat rapping, creating a widely-appealing and refreshing sound.

In front of a sea of blue robes, regalia and relatives, Mariah Calagione, co-founder of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, delivered the 2026 Commencement address on Saturday, May 23. Originally from Milford, Delaware, Calagione and her husband, Sam Calagione, opened Dogfish Head Brewing & Eats in Rehoboth in 1995 — Delaware’s first brewpub and the smallest commercial brewery in America at the time.
