The University of Iowa Libraries has launched a new journal search tool to help authors identify journals that are eligible for open access (OA) agreements with scholarly publishers. The search tool is updated when journals are added or removed from OA agreements. Search by journal title, subject area, publisher, or ISSN to find eligible journals.
ISE seniors bring engineering mindset to UI Health Care project
Having Iowa’s largest medical center on campus created a valuable opportunity for a trio of University of Iowa industrial and systems engineering (ISE) students to improve patient care and hospital operations. Sherise Eagen, of Hunter, North Dakota; Connor Vicory, of Aurora, Illinois; and Braden Vidmar, Bettendorf, Iowa; spent a semester embedded in a University of Iowa Health Care inpatient unit learning the ropes of the hospital room cleaning process.
