‘Music is my medicine’ – Trancey Parker DJ Trancey Parker is a multi-genre DJ dabbling in almost everything. There is no stone left unturned when it comes to his sets, no hefty bassline left unplayed. From monthly radio residencies on Dalston Radio and Radio Lewisham to his love for music production, Trancey Parker has spent the last few years immersing himself deeply in dance music culture.

Hi, who are you? Josh: I’m Josh Gunston, founder and label director of Southpoint. I co-founded Southpoint with Jay McDougall (KXVU) in Brighton back in 2015. What started as a local DIY label has grown into a global independent music company operating across both record label and artist management services.

ROVA has been building a name for himself since 2019, but really blew up around two years ago. In 2024, he toured his home country, and nowadays, he can count the Europe and UK to his tour portfolio as well. On his first tour, in 2025, he supported Sub Focus, Kanine, Mozey, and more. A year later, in 2026, he did it all over again but this time on his own terms. “For this tour, I got to design how the shows would look like for my visuals, lighting, and production, which was a cool first”, ROVA says.

Everyone in this scene is collecting milestones. Some arrive through hard work, some through luck. Some come in the form of breakthrough moments, lifelong friendships, creative highs, devastating lows, or the people we lose along the way. Right now, Delroy Pottinger (DRS) and Pierluigi Zardetto (Zar) find themselves right in the middle of a big, joint milestone of their own – releasing their long-awaited double LP ‘Milestones’ on both Space Cadet and Footnotes.

Hi, who are you? Billain / Adis Kutkut: Hi, I am Adis Kutkut, also known as Billain. I am a co-founder of CYBE Recordings, a multimedia label derived from the Cyberneuro underground movement. I have been involved in drum & bass, sound design, graphics, graffiti, sculpture, film, and sci-fi / horror writing for the past 27 years under the artist names Billain and Aethek. As a sound designer and cinematic composer, I have worked on multiple AAA games and films, and have made some of my own as well.

Many can agree there are few things as exhilarating as jostling for the apex at high speed, nailing the braking point, and exiting full-throttle with perfect timing while an explosive soundtrack blasts in the background. In moments like these, when you are pushing to the absolute limit and the drop of a heavy tune kicks your vibe into the next gear, the high is like nothing else. Racing and race games have fascinated me from an early age.

Seventeen is usually the age where most artists are still trying to figure out what their sound is meant to be. Ashdunn already sounds like he’s been living UKG for longer than he’s been allowed in most clubs. Raised on a diet of house and early garage through his parents, then pulled deeper into the scene through Gavin at Garage Shared, his route wasn’t really discovery. It was more like inheritance.

Junglist values are the absolute bedrock of the genre. Community. Culture. Inclusivity. Or, as the great MC Fats once said: ‘Peace, Love & Unity.’ You get the gist. A connection to something more than the music. It’s a home. A feeling. An unspoken code of togetherness. But how prevalent are these values in today’s scene? Markee Ledge is on a mission to bring true junglist values back to the forefront, and rather than alienating the new generation, he’s bringing them in and showing them the ropes.
