After first showing the game during Minecraft Live in March, Mojang and Microsoft have locked in a hard release date for the sequel to their surprisingly sticky action-RPG, alongside a fresh reveal trailer. It’s set for September 29, 2026. The sequel again supports drop-in co-op for up to four players, with Mojang promising tougher challenges than the original. To keep up, players get a wide spread of weapons, armor, artifacts, talismans, and legendary gear.
