Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, has dismissed a viral video suggesting that people are currently residing under the Oja Oba Bridge. Wahab, in a statement, said his attention was drawn to the video shared by one Ademola (@alkaneseries), alleging that people were currently living under the bridge. He clarified that the video was an old recording, taken approximately two years ago, and did not reflect the current situation at the location.

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) plans to raise campaign funds through small donations from ordinary Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general election, National Leader Seriake Dickson has said. Kano State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the death by stabbing of Ibrahim Khalil Danshagamu at his residence in Gaida Quarters, Kumbotso Local Government Area, Kano State. Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of Professor BADEJO Ayodeji Olawumi (Nee Faji) as Vice- Chancellor of the Lagos State University (LASU). Prof. BADEJO Ayodeji Olawunmi, a Professor of Guidance and Counselling, was born on August 4, 1962. She obtained a Ph. D in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and M. Ed. Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force Intelligence, Operations and Investigation Unit attached to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) National Headquarters have uncovered a fraud syndicate, arresting one suspect while efforts are underway to apprehend the principal culprit.
