EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana Men's Basketball announced that the Stan Gouard Elite Boys Basketball Camp has been scheduled for August 23 in Liberty Arena, home of the Screaming Eagles, and registration is now open. The camp will focus on fundamental and skill development, ball handling and decision making, teamwork and leadership, and defensive principles and footwork. The camp also will feature 5-on-5 live games.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana Varsity Club Steak Fry 'n Auction is returning this fall and will be held September 17 at the Discovery Lodge. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $65 per person or $750 for a corporate table (seats 8) and can be purchased online. Enjoy Angus Beef Steaks charcoal-grilled by the past presidents of the West Side Nut Club, while at the same time a silent auction will precede a live auction. The auction will be conducted by Wilson Auction & Realty.

EVANSVILLE, Ind.- University of Southern Indiana Swimming and Diving reveals the 2026-27 schedule on Thursday. The Screaming Eagles will kick off the season at the USI Aquatic Center on September 25 and 26 with an Alumni Meet and the Red and Blue Scrimmage. USI will hit the road for the first time on October 9 at Valparaiso University for a head-to-head.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Basketball will compete against the University of Evansville in a four-game, multi-year deal starting in the 2027-28 season. The head-to-head series will begin in 2027-28 and run through the 2030-31 season, with host sites alternating. The first matchup in 2027-28 will be inside Liberty Arena, home of the Screaming Eagles. UE will host at Ford Center in 2028-29 before the series shifts back to Liberty Arena in 2029-30.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Softball and Head Coach Sue Kunkle have announced the hiring of Bryan Wallen as an assistant coach ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. "We are excited to welcome Coach Wallen to our staff for the 2026-27 season," Kunkle stated.

After an outstanding senior season with the Screaming Eagles, USI Women's Basketball alum Sarang West is set for an exciting new chapter, taking her talents to England this fall for a unique postgraduate student-athlete opportunity. This September, the talented guard will travel to the UK, where she will spend the next 12 months pursuing a master's degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology while playing another season of college basketball.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Softball will be hosting an All-Skills Camp on Saturday, August 15, at USI Softball Field. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to Noon at USI Softball Field (weather permitting) and will feature skill development in every aspect of the game. Athletes ages 12 and up will learn to sharpen their fundamentals and take their skills to the next level.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Golf had four student-athletes named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars list for their academic achievements in 2025-26. The Screaming Eagles' Fernanda Vera, Brianna Kirsch, Valeria Lopez de Haro Juste, and McKenna Lowe completed the year with at least a 3.50 grade point average, while also participating in 50 percent of the team's rounds throughout the season.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The "Rick Stein on USI Women's Basketball" radio show will air its summer edition Wednesday, July 15, live from The Hilltop Inn off Harmony Way on Evansville's Westside. The show will air live on ESPN WREF 97.7 FM and at listentotheref.com between 7-8 p.m. The show will feature USI Women's Basketball Head Coach Rick Stein as well as USI Basketball play-by-play commentator Brad Klein.
