Three Roadrunners selected in 2026 MLB Draft
Over the weekend, three Roadrunners made history as Major League Baseball took center stage. Connor Kelley, Robert Orloski and Lane Haworth were all selected in the 2026 MLB Draft, securing UTSA’s second consecutive season with multiple selections. The trio became the 45th, 46th and 47th members of the program to be taken in the MLB Draft, doubling the total under head coach Pat Hallmark from three to six. UTSA upped its total from two draft selections in 2025 to three in 2026.

Ramirez, DrPH, MPH, a cancer researcher at UT Health San Antonio, the academic health center of The University of Texas at San Antonio, is receiving a two-year, $400,000 leadership grant from Susan G. Komen to study cancer survivorship. The research will study how therapeutic can impact health-related quality of life, fatigue and physical function.

UTSA Women’s Basketball recognized by San Antonio City Council
