TAMPA, Fla. – Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel, running back DeSean Bishop and linebackers Arion Carter and Jeremiah Telander will represent the Volunteers at 2026 SEC Football Media Day Monday in Tampa. The annual summer kickoff event will be held at the JW Marriott and Tampa Marriott and be televised by SEC Network all day with coverage beginning at 7 a.m. ET.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Following a historic 2025-26 season featuring the first SEC Championship in program history, Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics Danny White announced that he has extended Tennessee women's golf head coach Diana Cantú's contract through the 2030-31 season. "The transformation of our women's golf program under Diana's leadership has been extraordinary, highlighted by our first SEC championship last spring," said White.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Four Vols and two Lady Vols were honored by the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, with five earning induction into the state's hall of fame in Nashville. Monica Abbott, Reggie Cobb, Antone Davis, Charles McRae and Jason Witten were inducted into the hall of fame, while Karlyn Pickens was named the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Female Amateur Athlete of the Year.

PHILADELPHIA – Six Tennessee players had their names called in the 2026 Major League Baseball Draft. For the fifth straight year, the Volunteers had a player picked in the first round as sophomore pitcher Tegan Kuhns was selected with the 32nd overall pick by the St. Louis Cardinals. UT has now produced 11 total first rounders this decade, the most of any team in the country.

Flanagan added another accolade to a phenomenal year, garnering third-team honors. The senior became the second Lady Vol in the last three seasons to earn Academic All-America status. Gracie Condon garnered CSC Academic All-America recognition in 2024, also receiving third-team acclaim.
