Wakefield Trinity have granted Seth Nikotemo his release from the club by mutual agreement on compassionate grounds. As a club we would like to pass on our best wishes to the 22-year old in the next stage of his Rugby League career and wish him well on any future endeavours.
York Kick Off Changed
Our Round 25 game against York Knights at the DIY Kitchens Stadium has had an alteration to the kick off time due to the BBC. The game due to take place on Saturday 29th August will now kick off at 5:30pm instead of 3pm. The change is due to the game now being selected to be broadcast by BBC on BBC 2. Tickets for the game are on sale now through our Retail Store, online through our ticketing website and on our Wakefield Trinity App.
One Change Ahead Of Saints
Wakefield Trinity has made one change to their 21-Man Squad ahead of their clash with St Helens. The Round 23 game will take place on Saturday 15th August (KO: 5:30pm) at the DIY Kitchens Stadium. Trinity will be looking to bounce back following their agonising last minute defeat to League Leaders, Leeds Rhinos. Wakefield still sit third in the table behind the Rhinos and Wigan Warriors as they continue to look set for a best ever finish in the Super League.
Leigh Tickets On Sale
Tickets are now on sale for our final away game of the 2026 Betfred Super League Regular Season. We head to the Leigh Sports Village to take on Leigh Leopards on Friday 11th September (KO: 8pm) in Round 27. Fans can now purchase tickets on line via our website or through our Wakefield Trinity App! Our official Supporters Coach Travel is also available to purchase in our club store or via phone by calling our club store on 01924 211411 (Option 1).
St Helens Gameday Information
RESERVES Our Reserves will take on Warrington Wolves ahead of the First Team fixture on Saturday. Action will get underway from 2:45pm with fans wanting to enter the stadium early to catch the full game being able to through our West Stand turnstiles ONLY which will open from 2:30pm. Our remaining turnstiles will open from 3:30pm. THE CLUB HOUSE Our bar is proving a popular place for Trin fans on Gameday! Open from 2:30pm, The Club House is the perfect meeting place for fans pre-match.
Doyle Departs Trinity
Wakefield Trinity can confirm that Thomas Doyle has left the club by mutual consent. The 27-year old joined the club ahead of the 2024 Championship season helping the club to the treble in that year and scoring at Wembley in the 1895 Cup Final. Doyle has made 34 appearances in total in the Red, White and Blue over three seasons with injuries hampering his 2025 and 2026.

Litten Revealed As Trin’s Latest Signing
Another piece of Wakefield Trinity’s 2027 puzzle is revealed as Davy Litten joins the Red, White and Blue on a four-year deal from Hull FC after paying a substantial transfer fee. The talented 23-year old will add to an already stacked out back line that boasts internationals Tom Johnstone and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck as well as exciting youngsters, Oliver Pratt, Corey Hall and Jayden Myers.

Top Of The Table Clash Squad Confirmed
Wakefield Trinity have named their 21-Man Squad for the top of the table clash with Leeds Rhinos! The game will take place at the DIY Kitchens Stadium (KO:8pm) on Friday 7th August in front of a SELL OUT crowd! 2026 so far has seen the two sides claim one win a piece. Wakefield dumped the Rhinos out of the Challenge Cup at Belle Vue before Leeds claimed revenge at AMT Headingley in May. Tickets for the game have completely sold out with a capacity crowd ready to roar on the two sides.
