HONOLULU (KHON2) — One woman has broken records and barriers after completing a solo-row across the Pacific Ocean from California to Hawaiʻi. Record-breaking rower Kelsey Pfendler covered more than 2,400 miles from Monterey, California, to the Waikīkī Yacht Harbor and concluded her journey on Friday, July 3. The trip took Pfendler 43 days, 17 hours and one second shy of 56 minutes to complete.
