#30: Tocarra’s Mistreatment Cycle 3 “Top Model’s” track record with so-called plus-sized models speaks for itself. Unfortunately, the story it tells is bleak. Cycle 3’s Toccara Jones found that out the hard way. During one photoshoot, she was taken to task for her reaction to the absence of any clothes in her size. The unfairness was apparent. Stylist Michele shamed Jones for her size and then accused her of being negative.

#20: Goku Died Fighting Omega Shenron In what was considered the final battle of the franchise, Goku puts his all into one, last spirit bomb, and then flies off on Shenron's back. He isn’t seen again for decades, and even then, it’s questionable. If that sounds like a metaphor, it's because it probably is. With how exhausting that last fight against Omega Shenron was, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Goku died there. It's just vague enough to make you wonder.

How Anime Took Over America Anime is everywhere, to the extent that it’s part of the pop culture zeitgeist. It fills theatres, inspires music videos and fashion lines, and fuels online fandoms that stretch across the globe. But anime’s journey to cultural dominance in America wasn’t sudden, it was a long, winding path that spanned decades. But how did we get here?

#10: “Cat Soup” (2001) On the surface, “Cat Soup” might appear adorable, but Nyata and Nyaako’s faces do inspire some unsettling feelings in our stomachs. The story, on the other hand, adds a whole other layer of disturbing to the mix. “Cat Soup” follows Nyata as he ventures into the depths of the underworld in order to save Nyaako’s soul. Many moments will paint a bleak picture in your head, almost to an uneasy degree.

#20: Gohan Unbound With Goku six deep and trapped on the sidelines, Bojack and his crew probably thought Earth would be easy pickings. But, they neglected one very important detail. Iconic Super Saiyan transformations run in the family, and there’s no denying Gohan takes after his father. Combining a throat-shredding roar, epic animation, and the coolest runway strut in “Dragon Ball” history, Goku’s son finishes Bojack with style. And, of course, a killer gutpunch.

#10: “Tojima Tanzaburo Wants to Be a Kamen Rider” (2025) Given how much of a cultural phenomenon Kamen Rider has been for the last fifty years, it only makes sense that the average fan would want to emulate their heroic actions, flashy poses and take down some bad guys with a flying kick.

#10: Battle Against the Composers Don’t you just hate it when what’s supposed to be a training session turns into a fight for survival against some of history’s greatest classical composers? Transported to a concert hall by the rather aggressive spirits of Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and other legendary musicians, both Okarun and Aira find themselves tackling everything from giant opera singers to a swarm of screaming attendees.
