for KING + COUNTRY is bringing their beloved A DRUMMER BOY CHRISTMAS tour to NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates on Friday, December 11. The holiday spectacular has become a Christmas tradition for families across the country, combining powerful music, cinematic production, storytelling, and the true meaning of Christmas.

In 2026, America turns 250 years old, and from end to end of WBGL country, communities are marking the milestone with the biggest Independence Day weekend in memory. WBGL reaches a wide stretch of the heartland... central and southern Illinois, the Metro East across from St. Louis, the Wabash Valley around Terre Haute, and the Grundy County area southwest of Chicago.

This summer, WBGL is hitting the road to bring the fun straight to your community! The WBGL Great Summer Road Trip is a high-energy, community-focused series with five exciting stops across our listening area. Each stop is an opportunity to connect with our listeners, create meaningful moments, and make some summer memories together. Along the way, we’ll also be giving back by collecting non-perishable food items at every stop to support local food pantries in each community we visit.

WBGL celebrated year three of Kindness Clubs by hosting the first ever WBGL Kindness Club Pep Rally at Trinity Lutheran School in Centralia. We had an amazing time partnering with their incredible Kindness Club, the Sunshine Squad, to celebrate kindness in action. The pep rally was packed with fun – decorations, competitive games, WBGL giveaways, and a group dance party! One of the most meaningful moments of the event was recognizing students who went above and beyond to show kindness to others.

Johnathon and Courtney want to help remind you to protect “what’s under the hat!” All week (May 11-15) long they are giving away WBGL “Pray” hats to celebrate the fact that we have a God who is ALWAYS listening to us, no matter what’s happening in our minds.
