Federal health officials are recalling nearly 90,000 bottles of children’s ibuprofen across the country. Strides Pharma Incorporated initiated the massive recall. The company received complaints of a “gel-like mass and black particles” found inside the liquid medicine. The Food and Drug Administration issued a Class Two recall. The agency cited a risk of “temporary or medically reversible health problems.” The affected product is the four-ounce bottle of Children’s Ibuprofen Oral Suspension.

Ford is issuing two major recalls for nearly 1.74 million vehicles in the U.S. due to dangerous rearview camera glitches. The first recall covers nearly 850,000 Ford Broncos and Edges. Their infotainment systems can overheat and completely shut down the camera display. A second recall impacts almost 890,000 Ford Escapes, Explorers, and Lincoln SUVs. These vehicles show a flipped or upside-down rearview image. These camera failures reduce rear visibility and drastically increase the risk of a crash.

A 19-year-old Ohio woman is alive today after a harrowing plunge into a freezing river, all thanks to her Apple Watch. Andi Burns was driving home from work in Batavia Township when her pickup truck hit black ice and flipped upside down into the Little Miami River. Trapped in the pitch-black and unable to reach her phone, the watch’s “Crash Detection” feature automatically alerted 911 dispatchers to her exact location.
