The foal can now be seen among its herd at the zoo’s Wild Asia Monorail exhibit. The Bronx Zoo has played a pivotal role in the conservation of the Przewalski's horse, also known as the Mongolian wild horse — a species that was once considered Extinct in the Wild.

The collared lemur is a medium-sized primate native to southeastern Madagascar. They are considered Endangered by the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, as populations have declined by 50% in the past 24 years due primarily to habitat loss and poaching.
