The two stations share studios on Elm Street in Downtown New Haven and transmitter facilities in Hamden, Connecticut; however, master control and some internal operations originate from hub facilities at Nexstar-owned WWLP (channel 22) in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash in New Haven
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A motorcyclist was left with major injuries after a crash in New Haven early Wednesday morning, police said. The crash happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Ella T. Grasso Boulevard and Crescent Street. New Haven police said the motorcycle was traveling north when it veered off the road and into a nearby body of water. The 35-year-old rider from Hamden was retrieved from the water and transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) — An airplane and helicopter collided midair at the Carlisle Airport located in South Middleton Township, Pennsylvania, Wednesday evening, federal authorities confirmed to Nexstar’s WHTM. Two people were aboard a Pennsylvania State Police aircraft when it collided midair with a Cessna 150 around 6:50 p.m., a Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson said in a statement. Dallas Wings’ Azzi Fudd set for season-ending knee surgery, to return to Connecticut for procedure

(WTNH) — Azzi Fudd, former UConn star guard and current rookie guard with the Dallas Wings, will return to Connecticut next week to undergo a knee procedure. Fudd will be undergoing an arthroscopic procedure to address ongoing right knee soreness, the Dallas Wings stated in a Wednesday announcement. She’ll have the procedure done in Connecticut early next week and will immediately begin rehabbing.
