Zac Brown teams with cruise line to design onboard music experiences
Zac Brown and the late Jimmy Buffett were friends, so it’s fitting that Zac has been tapped to help design onboard music experiences for the Margaritaville at Sea cruise line. Zac’s first order of business was creating a new live music venue for the cruise line’s new flagship, the Beachcomber. The venue is called Same Boat, after the song Jimmy sang with Zac on the deluxe edition of Zac Brown Band‘s album The Comeback.

This year’s installment of CMA Country Christmas will have some Louisiana flavor: It’s being hosted by Jordan Davis and Lauren Daigle, who are from Shreveport and Lafayette, respectively. The 20-track album is comprised of never-before-released live recordings from the Opry stage, all chosen from the fan-voted Opry 100 Greatest Songs list. Fans can continue voting for the #1 all-time greatest country song through Nov. 14. The live recordings are a mix of cover versions and original live performances.
Reba McEntire admits she paused before saying yes ‘three times’ to Rex Linn’s proposal
Reba McEntire is “happier now than I’ve ever been in my life,” in part thanks to her romance with her fiancé, Rex Linn — although she admits she didn’t immediately say yes to his proposal. Speaking to USA Today, Reba shared that Linn, her co-star on Happy’s Place, originally planned to pop the question when they were on safari in Africa in June, but “the opportunity never presented itself.” He brought the ring all the way back home to Tennessee, and on Dec.
