Police say the 1939 Kinner Sport-Wing flipped over when it touched down on the runway at the Brunswick Executive Airport. The pilot, who’s from New Hampshire, was the only one in the plane and was treated for minor injuries. The FAA is investigating the crash.

Police are investigating a deadly crash that sent two vehicles into a pond Wednesday evening in Plymouth. The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened on Moosehead Trail. The driver of a pickup truck, a 69-year-old man, crossed the centerline and struck a car, sending both vehicles into Plymouth Pond. A 68-year-old woman in the car’s passenger seat was killed. The pickup driver and the driver of the car, a 67-year-old man, were hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries.
