Existing seat holders in the South Stand will have their seat reserved until the end of October, after which the seat will be released for general sale. Are junior Bolt ons available? VIKINGS SIGN LIAM WILLIAMS FROM MELBOURNE STORM Original
Widnes Vikings are delighted to announce the signing of Australian Centre Liam Williams from Melbourne Storm until the end of the 2027 season, with the option for a further year in 2028. The 22-year-old made 20 appearances in the Storm’s NSW Cup side in 2026, scoring seven tries in the process. Widnes Vikings Women to face Wanderers Australia at the DCBL Stadium Original
On Tuesday 6 October, our very own Widnes Vikings Women will take on the Wanderers Australia touring side as part of an action packed double-header under the lights at the DCBL Stadium. The exciting night of action gets underway at 6:30pm with Australia vs Crossfields Women, closely followed by Australia vs Widnes Vikings Women at 8pm. This will be the first time since 1990 that an Australian side has visited Widnes, making for a special evening of women’s rugby league.

Widnes Vikings is looking for a reliable, organised and committed Team Manager / Kit Manager to join our club for the upcoming season. This is a key role within the club, working closely with the coaching staff and players to ensure the team is fully prepared for training, matchdays and away fixtures. The role is currently undertaken with a single candidate, but the club are open to possibility of the roles being split and as such have listed the responsibilities separately.
Matty Fleming signs one year extension Original
Widnes Vikings are delighted to announce that Matty Fleming has penned a one year contract extension, keeping him at the club until the end of 2027. Fleming joined the club in 2022 and has gone on to represent the Vikings 99 times, scoring 26 tries. Head coach Allan Coleman said: “I’m absolutely delighted to get Fleming on board for next year, at the start of the year when he was fit and playing, he was in the starting team, so that’s really important for us.
Allan Coleman wins Coach of the Year
Widnes Vikings head coach Allan Coleman has been voted by his fellow Championship head coaches as the Betfred Championship Coach of the Year. This comes following a fifth place finish for the Vikings, alongside his role in a stellar 1895 Cup campaign, which saw us reach the final. On winning this award, Allan Coleman said: “I want to thank everyone at the club, players, staff, board, supporters, for sticking with us, we’ve done it together as a collective.

Widnes Vikings lost in Golden Point extra time, having drawn 16-16 in normal time, against Oldham Roughyeds in the Betfred Championship sudden death Playoff at the DCBL Stadium. The game initially began as a cagey affair until the 15-minute mark when Oldham kicked a 40-20. The Roughyeds made their advanced position up the pitch count when Jake Bibby caught the ball on the left flank and ran over the line.
