The traffic stop began just before 1:30 a.m Wednesday when a Plainfield Police Department officer spotted a speeding vehicle. Police noted the driver reportedly had an active warrant for their arrest, but did not say what for.
Woman killed, driver hospitalized in single-vehicle crash in Bloomington
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — A 19-year-old woman died and 18-year-old man was in the hospital after an early morning crash in Monroe County Wednesday morning. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 1:27 a.m. Wednesday in the area of South State Road 446 and Allens Creek Road in Bloomington. Investigators say a Subaru traveling on S.R. 446 left the road for some reason and overturned. A passenger – a 19-year-old Medora woman – died from her injuries.
