Eddie and I only knew each other through interactions on social media, but we are bonded by valuing our independence over the almighty showbiz dollar.

It was so surprising that it took me longer than I want to admit to realize that Lindsey Graham was the southern Republican asshole senator who died and not Mitch McConnell. At least they haven’t told us that Mitch is dead.

This was a truly great, lyrical, funny, and fun conversation. Misty Copeland is a ballet dancer who is best known for being the first ever Black Principal Dancer at The American Ballet Theatre (ABT). But that was just Misty’s first act. I met Misty a few years ago when she was bringing her short film Flowersto Oakland for a screening. I found Misty to be as passionate about building community as she is about ballet. Before our talk for WHO’S WITH ME?

We are all in this together! The Sizzle Karma must be exhausted after this past holiday weekend. But it is not enough that you just say, “I’m with YOU”, just like it is not enough for me to say “I’m with YOU.” We both have to prove it with our actions and words, otherwise we are just yammering.

The guest on today’s episode of WHO’S WITH ME? (the podcast) is actress Nava Mau. Nava is best known for starring in the 2024 megahit Netflix series Baby Reindeer. Nava was nominated for an Emmy Award for her performance as Teri. This made history, as she was the first ever Latina trans woman actress to be nominated for an Emmy. On today’s episode, Nava talks about how it felt as a trans woman to be able to play a trans character on the global hit.

Notorious nice and good guy comedian Nate Bargatze at the UFC Freedom 250 cage fights at the White House. If you ever saw me in a photo with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., you can be guaranteed that my family was being threatened. The rules are so simple. People seem to forget them so often, so I’ve decided to write them out. Hopefully, this stops the madness.

My friend Daveed Diggs is on today’s new episode of WHO’S WITH ME? (the podcast). Daveed is a actor, rapper, new dad, and a person who cares about his community. I met Daveed back in 2018 when he and his best friend / collaborator Rafael Casal invited me to moderate a screening of their then new film Blindspotting. I quickly found out how awesome the two were, what incredible artists they were, and how committed the two were to their communities in Oakland, Berkeley, and the Bay Area as a whole.
