GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman knows Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell well enough to realize the Fighting Irish would face a bigger season-opening challenge than the recent results of these two teams suggested. Freeman's team eventually responded. CJ Carr threw two touchdown passes, Aneyas Williams ran for 90 yards and two more scores and No. 4 Notre Dame pulled away in the second half to beat Wisconsin 41-13 on Sunday night at Lambeau Field.

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Two programs steeped in tradition are taking over one of the most historic venues in all of football. For many fans of the Fighting Irish, this is their first trip to Green Bay. "To be able to be in a place like this and play a team like that, it doesn't get better than this in college football," said Christie Albright, a Notre Dame fan from South Bend, IN. "Just awe-inspiring, I think.

According to a statement from Acton's campaign, an armed individual lunged at Acton while she was attending the Canfield Fair in Mahoning County. Multiple people nearby were reportedly injured during the incident.
