But now? They’d rather vacation in Wildwood next year. And honestly, I get it. Ocean City still has that nostalgic, family-friendly charm, but the summer vacation price tag is getting harder to ignore.

This fall, I have a perfect day trip for you here in the Garden State. The spot I am talking about is located in Burlington County, and I recommend it for many reasons, including that it's just a nice place to walk about and enjoy. The location is Rancocas Woods, and it's located in Mt. Laurel Township in Burlington County. The beach crowds get smaller, the air gets cooler, and suddenly pumpkins, scarecrows and Halloween decorations seem to be everywhere.
