NJ Is One Step Closer To Permanent Daylight Saving Time
I'm ready for daylight saving time to be permanent. I want to see the sun set over the bay later in the winter, and I'm tired of driving home from work down Route 9 in the dark because the sun sets at 4:30. Now that a new bill has passed in the US House, we may be one step closer to just that. Daylight saving time is the time that we are in during the spring and summer season; it's when our clocks move ahead by one hour, and we get extra sunlight throughout the day.

Hundreds of 7-Eleven Stores Are Closing, But What About New Jersey? Original
For many of us in New Jersey, 7-Eleven is more than just a convenience store. It's the place you stop for a quick coffee before work, a late-night snack, or, if you're anything like me, a Coca-Cola Slurpee on a hot summer day. That's why the company's latest announcement has caught the attention of customers across the country. 7-Eleven Is Closing and Converting Hundreds of Stores The convenience store giant says it plans to make significant changes to its U.S. footprint.

The Ramones may have started in New York City, but their fast, loud, no-frills sound helped change rock music forever. Formed in 1974, the band kept things simple with short, high-energy songs that inspired countless punk bands around the world. Even though they never topped the pop charts, classics like Blitzkrieg Bop and I Wanna Be Sedated made them legends, and today they're still considered one of the most influential bands in rock history.

New License Plate Reading Cameras Installed in Atlantic County, NJ
Hamilton Township, N.J. — It appears that automatic license plate reading cameras have recently been installed along a busy highway in the heart of Atlantic County. First, let's define what this technology does and why some people find it unsettling. Automatic license plate reading cameras are just that -- relatively small cameras that are mounted along the side of a road, and all they do, sometimes thousands of times a day, is take pictures of every vehicle that drives by.
Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff Set to Film Cold War Thriller in Seaside Park, NJ This Month
I love seeing New Jersey become a hot-spot for movie shootings, and it's something we're seeing more and more of, especially now that Netflix is setting up shop in Monmouth County. It's just another thing we can say that makes Jersey a fun, cool, and unique place to call home. And this month, Seaside Park is going to get a taste of the red carpet when a star-studded cast descends upon the town to shoot a scene for an upcoming Cold-War Era Spy thriller.
