The 15-minute production focuses on the Portuguese’s rise from player to head coach before taking his place in the Old Gold hotseat this summer ahead of leading Wolves out during their landmark 150th anniversary season. There’s insight into what Peixoto was like as a determined young midfielder after his outstanding performance against Porto for hometown club Vitoria Guimaraes led to him being signed by Jose Mourinho and winning the Champions League with the Portuguese giants.

On the latest episode of Wolves Express, we hear a tribute to the late Phil Parkes, a Blackburn Rovers preview with Adam Armstrong and a Wolves Women update from Dan McNamara. Sadly, the club lost a legend on Saturday when Phil ‘Lofty’ Parkes passed away. To start, we hear the words of vice-president and Lofty’s former teammate John Richards on the Hall of Famer who made 382 appearances for the Old Gold. Date and prices confirmed for Wednesday trip
Date and ticket price information have been confirmed for Wolves’ Carabao Cup trip to Sheffield Wednesday later this month. The Old Gold head to Hillsborough to face the League One side on Tuesday 25th August for a 7.45pm kick-off in the second round.
Midnite launch ‘2Up’ to reward fans this season
Wolves and Midnite have unveiled ‘2Up’, a new matchday initiative that will put money in one lucky supporter’s pocket every time Wolves go two goals ahead at Molineux in their league fixtures during the club’s 150th anniversary season. The mechanics are simple: whenever Wolves establish a two-goal lead in a home league fixture, one fan will be selected to win the ‘2Up’ prize pot.

Ticket giveaway for 150th anniversary
Wolves are donating up to 150 tickets per home fixture which will be distributed by Wolves Foundation, the club’s official charity, to participants who attend the range of projects delivered through the city, or other community groups working across Wolverhampton. This means that, during this special anniversary year, supporters who might not normally be able to attend first team fixtures will have the opportunity to enjoy the magic of Molineux and Championship football in their home city.
