"The fox is currently in the Animal Health Center at the Bronx Zoo, where it is under the care of the zoo's animal and veterinary teams. Initial examinations indicate that the fox appears to be in good condition." See more here.

By Beau Daniels I love exploring caves. A Guinness World Record was established with running in a cave over 3000 feet deep. The run established the record for deepest marathon. One of the runners stated, "It' hot, it's humid, it's a bit dusty, but we're good." See more here.

By Beau Daniels I love owls. An owl was seen napping in a store. "Employees at an antique store stated that shoppers noticed something extremely lifelike on one of the shelves. A sleepy eastern screech owl was perched next to a chicken cookie jar." See more here.

By Beau Daniels You know I often give praise to Firefighters and what they do even beyond putting out fires. Firefighters came to the rescue of a wolf found stuck in a support pylon under a bridge, that was quite a rescue! Props to Firefighters! See more here.

By Beau Daniels Interesting story about a cat that was missing for two weeks, it was discovered in a wall. Of course Firefighters do great things, they rescued the cat, "We're delighted to report she was removed safely and reunited with her very relieved and happy owners." See more here.

Officials said, "Outage that knocked out phone and Internet services at government facilities including the county prosecutor's office was initially thought to be caused by contractors accidentally slicing through underground fiber." Jessalynn Oliver explained, "I closed the fridge door and I spy with my little eye a giant pig staring in from the other end of the living room. He thought he was safe in the flower bed; was going to have himself a little snack. Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin, he got a spanking with the broom." See more here.

By Beau Daniels I know people even in their 90's who are still very active. The worlds oldest competition of playing pool involved a player at age 98. Maggie Kennedy commented, "I fell in love with the game. I think it's because I'm old, I think that surprises people. I'm still flabbergasted." See more here.
