Sammy Hagar has responded to Alex Van Halen’s latest disparaging remark, suggesting it’s time for the two former bandmates to stop their feud. During a recent interview with the Brazilian magazine Roadie Crew, Alex was asked about Hagar’s 2011 autobiography, Red: My Uncensored Life In Rock. "I don't know what he wrote, and I don't want to know,” the Van Halen drummer pointedly remarked.

The City of Toronto has issued orders for Live Nation to fix Rogers Stadium ahead of AC/DC’s scheduled performance on Sept. 16. A large storm caused serious damage to the stadium on Sept. 2, tearing apart sections of the bleachers and leaving at least one part of the grandstand collapsed. After inspectors evaluated the situation the day after the storm, the City of Toronto issued orders necessary for Rogers Stadium’s reopening.

New Rush drummer Anika Nilles has been grabbing headlines for her light-hearted asides at the end of the band’s concerts. But this time guitarist Alex Lifeson was the star of the show in a clip from their performance in Montreal on Sept. 4. As the video below shows, he made the most of a pause in proceedings ahead of playing classic track “Limelight,” presumably while waiting for a technical detail to be addressed.

One of the most moving displays of the year is returning to Utica this November. The Good News Foundation will host its 12th annual Flags for Heroes Healing Field, filling Memorial Parkway with 1,000 American flags in honor of the men and women who have served, sacrificed and made a difference in our communities. The display will be open November 3 through November 11, 2026.

If you were hoping to squeeze in a few more boating days at Hinckley Reservoir before summer officially disappears, you'll want to make other plans. The New York Power Authority has announced it will temporarily close the boat launch and ramp at Hinckley Dam and Reservoir because water levels have gotten too low for safe operation. According to NYPA, the boat launch and ramp will close at dusk on Tuesday, September 9. The good news is that the entire reservoir isn't off-limits.

Bruce Springsteen has announced he will release a new concert film via streaming, scheduled to arrive Wednesday (Sept. 9). Complete details have not been shared yet (including where you'll be able to see it), but the upcoming movie was captured in Philadelphia during the rocker's latest tour with the E Street Band earlier this year.
