The Stray Cats have added more dates to their 2026 tour, which is scheduled to start on July 24. The just-announced new dates will continue the band's run into fall, with shows taking place into December. The concerts follow the cancellation of the Stray Cats' 2025 fall tour after singer and guitarist Brian Setzer reported health issues. A six-part TV drama exploring The Beatles’ two-year stint in the German city of Hamburg will reintroduce a forgotten key player in the band’s early years, its writer said. Hamburg Days is expected to air via the BBC in 2027 or 2028. Filming began in May, with a script by Succession writer Jamie Carragher and production by Christian Schwochow (The Crown) and Mat Whitecross.

Alice Cooper has extended his Alice's Attic tour with a slate of fall 2026 North American dates. The newly announced tour leg will begin on Sept. 17 with an appearance at the Louder Than Life festival Louisville, Kentucky. Two more festival appearances — the Big E Fair in West Springfield, Massachusetts; and CityFolk Festival in Ottawa, Ontario — will follow before Cooper begins his proper headlining dates on Sept. 22 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

With a Heat Advisory in effect across Central New York and "feels like" temperatures climbing toward 104 degrees, it's not just people who need to stay cool. Your dog does too. While many dogs love their daily walks, experts say hot, humid weather can quickly become dangerous. Before you grab the leash, check the heat index or "feels like" temperature instead of the air temperature. Veterinarians say it's generally safe to walk a healthy adult dog when the heat index is 85 degrees or lower.

A Heat Advisory has been issued for much of New York, including Oneida, Herkimer, Madison, Onondaga, Oswego, Montgomery, Fulton, Lewis, Jefferson, and dozens of other counties. The advisory is in effect Tuesday, July 14, from 11 a.m. through Wednesday, July 15, at 9 p.m. Forecasters say temperatures combined with high humidity could make it feel as hot as 104 degrees, creating dangerous conditions that can quickly lead to heat-related illnesses.

The Cure have announced that Simon Gallup, the band’s long-tenured bassist, will not be performing with the new wave icons as he deals with an unspecified illness. The group is currently in the midst of a summer tour across the U.K. and Europe, with dates stretching through the end of August. During the band’s concert in Berlin on Friday (July 10), fans noticed that Gallup was not onstage. In his place, the rocker’s son, Eden Gallup, filled in.

Bon Jovi brought back a pair of classic tracks during their show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday night. The concert marked the third of nine concerts for Bon Jovi at the legendary venue. And while much of the night’s set list followed what was played in the first two shows, Jon Bon Jovi and his bandmates managed to throw in a couple of surprises. A little more than a year after he was dismissed from Guns N’ Roses, drummer Frank Ferrer has opened up about his previous employer. It was 2006 when Ferrer originally joined the GNR lineup. Initially, it was meant to be a temporary thing – he was replacing Brian “Brain” Mantia, who was taking a break to care for his newborn child. But when Mantia opted not to return, Ferrer was offered the full-time job.
