The Race to World First guilds have been working on Ula'tek for several days now, and the encounter is very difficult. Here's a look at what they're up against so far. Mythic Ula'tek is a huge step up from Heroic difficulty due to major changes to the encounter in all phases. The biggest change is that all eggs spawn protected by a shield that must be broken to pick them up. In addition, while holding an egg, players who bump into each other will cause their eggs to hatch, likely causing a wipe.

Phase 3 brings a plethora of new recipes for professions in The Burning Crusade Anniversary! Whether they're newly added to older reputations or brand-new from the freshly released content, tons of new recipes are now available to collect and craft. With the release of TBC Anniversary, Blizzard decided to make all attunements account-wide. While this will apply to Black Temple, players may benefit from completing the attunement for the headline raid of Phase 3 on alts anyways, as they'll receive the Medallion of Karabor.

With Patch 12.1 now out for almost three weeks, many players are at least halfway to maxing out the new reputation, Zul'jarra's Forces. Upon reaching Rank 10 with Zul'jarra's Forces, players will embark on a special quest chain to obtain the green spectral Spirit of Tok'jara mount! Zul'jarra's Forces Renown Guide Once the requisite level of renown is attained, the chain is made up of six individual quests, each offered once per day by Du'gal within the underground Vaults of Atal'Utek.

The Cursed Keepsake is a weekly quest in Patch 12.1, asking players to complete a short scenario in order to earn twenty different pieces of purified player housing decor over as many weeks, though there are a few tricks to help players find the ones they really want. The item inside the sphere provides a preview of that particular reward.

Players who complete their Hyjal Summit attunement will obtain an Epic ring for doing so, with a ring available for each class role. In Phase 3, players can upgrade that ring as they gain more reputation, rewarding them with a powerful, specialized piece of gear. Scale of the Sands Reputation Guide Players will need to complete their Mount Hyjal attunement to unlock the The Scale of the Sands reputation.

Just one day after the release of Phase 3 of TBC Anniversary featuring Hyjal Summit and Black Temple, a new TBC-inspired song, "Fear the Fel Reaver," was posted on the World of Warcraft YouTube channel featuring electronic and drum & bass artist Venjent! With more than 278,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, this was certainly a collaboration people weren't expecting - but to celebrate the release of Phase 3, it's a great tribute to one of the most iconic foes of The Burning Crusade.
