McEntire, 71, shared a photo on Instagram with Jon Small. Small reportedly died after a battle with cancer on Friday, September 4 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was 79, according to his obituary. McEntire said in her tribute that Small “directed my very first music video and so many others... Rest in my peace my friend.

Brooks, 64, is bringing his highly-anticipated run of shows to Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Those shows are slated for Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10. Tickets will be available to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. MT on Friday, September 18. All tickets will be priced at $154 plus taxes, per a press release issued Wednesday.
