Savannah Catalon, the 5-foot-8 senior guard out of Mansfield, Texas, is back for her fourth year at the Hall. Catalon, who has been praised as a leader by Coach Tony Bozzella, is looking to make a major impact on a promising women’s basketball team this season.

They defeated Jacksonville State (1-6) on Friday and Western Carolina (2-4) on Sunday but fell to hosts UNC Asheville (6-1) in Saturday’s match. After not dropping a set in their own tournament the weekend before, Seton Hall began their first road trip of the season with a four-set win over Jacksonville State.

With a combined 27 fouls from both teams, 6 yellow cards for Seton Hall, no shortage of VAR review moments, and some spectacular saves by Seton Hall goalie Devin Armstrong, the game was hard fought until the end. At the top of the first half, the Scarlet Knights came out strong, driving the pace of play.

The pressure started at the 39 second mark when Macie Mietz had the first shot on goal, which was saved by Alexia-Mae Goodman, yet it set the tone early in the match. The first goal came at the 9:08 mark for the Hall.

by Jeremy Calderon DURHAM, N.C. - The Seton Hall Pirates (1-1-0) picked up their first win of the season on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Campbell Fighting Camels (0-2-0). Seton Hall struck early with Mikkel Lejbowicz finding the back of the net in only the second minute. The goal was assisted by Nico Rubio as the Pirates rattled the ball around the box. The goal was upheld following a review initiated by Campbell.

Defender Charlie Herley found the back of the net almost immediately for the Pirates. A well-placed free kick from Til Kauschke and a header from the graduate put Seton Hall on the board in only the fifth minute. The Pirates kept consistent possession in the opening minutes before Duke found momentum.

It didn’t take long for the Pirates to find the back of the net for the first time in 2026, as UConn transfer, Kileigh Gorman made her presence known early on. The junior midfielder scored in the sixth minute on a goal that was assisted by Gianna Angelillo and Cassidy Brown.

The 24th minute goal was assisted by Red Bull captain Emil Forsberg and Berggren.
