Major League Baseball has secured new three-year media rights agreements with NBC, Netflix and ESPN following the end of ESPN’s 35-year run with national games. NBC Sports will take over ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball and Wild Card rights, creating year-round Sunday programming with NFL, NBA and MLB games. Netflix will broadcast the annual Home Run Derby, opening night game and revived Field Of Dreams game in Dyersville, Iowa.

A grand jury has indicted Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez, 57, on one count of murder in the death of actor Jonathan Joss.
