Wordle Starter Word Lab
This lab uses the same official NYT Wordle answer list and lexical profile we use for our other tools. For each 5-letter answer, we compute how often each letter appears overall and in each of the 5 slots, and we derive a rough difficulty score and semantic tags (for example FOOD, NATURE) from modern English usage. When you enter a starter here, we look it up in the combined Wordle answers and guesses list to make sure it’s a valid word.
Wordle Trap Trainer & Endgame Simulator
Some Wordle boards are much nastier than others. Patterns like _ATCH, _IGHT, or SHA_E can hide several valid answers at once. If you only have a few guesses left, firing directly at BATCH → CATCH → HATCH is a fast way to lose a long streak. The Trap Trainer turns those situations into a small practice gym. Each scenario locks in a classic pattern and a set of official Wordle answers.
