Google Chrome has announced new upgrades to its AI Mode. With the update, clicking a link in AI Mode now opens the webpage side-by-side with search results. It lets users read content, compare information and ask follow-up questions without losing context or jumping between tabs. Users can also explore product pages while asking questions in real time or dive deeper into topics. Google is also adding the ability to search across open tabs.

REDMI has officially teased its upcoming REDMI Buds 8. Alongside the REDMI Buds 8 Pro and REDMI Buds 8 Lite, the brand has announced a base model with the REDMI Buds 8. The REDMI Buds 8 will feature up to 50dB wideband active noise cancellation with a 4kHz range. It also comes with an 11mm high-performance dynamic driver. The earbuds will support enhanced connectivity features. These include a map-based find function to help users locate misplaced earbuds.

Huawei has opened pre-orders for the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro in the Philippines. The HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro features a 6.75-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1โ€“120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 3000 nits peak brightness. No chipset has been verified but, in the China variant, it is powered by the Kirin 9030 Pro. For cameras, it is equipped with a 50MP main sensor, a 40MP ultra-wide camera and a 48MP macro telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom and OIS. A 13MP front camera handles selfies.

POCO has confirmed the launch of the POCO M8s 5G. Based on the brand’s latest teaser, the POCO M8s 5G is set to arrive on April 21, 2026. The upcoming smartphone is positioned as a battery-focused device. It features a large 7000mAh battery and also sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ display. Battery life reaches up to 13.5 hours on the earbuds alone and up to 56 hours with the charging case. Charging is done via USB-C.
