Who is Zach W. Lambert?
Zach W. Lambert is the Lead Pastor and founder of Restore Austin, a church in urban Austin, Texas. Under his leadership, Restore has grown from a founding team of 4 people to over 1000 members. He is also the author of the forthcoming book Better Ways To Read The Bible: Transforming a Weapon of Harm into a Tool of Healing. Available from Brazos Press summer 2025.
Zach holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Hardin-Simmons University, a Master’s of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and is pursuing his Doctorate of Ministry from Duke Divinity School. He is the co-founder of the Post Evangelical Collective where he serves as a board member. He is also on the board of Restore Houston, the Hub Garage (a non-profit supporting single moms), the Austin Church Planting Network, and the Multi-Faith Neighbors Network.
Zach and his wife, Amy, met each other in the 6th grade, fell in love at 17, and got married at 21. They love watching live music, discovering local Mexican food places, and playing with their two boys. Source

Many years ago, in my youth pastor days, there was a high school student in our youth group who was really struggling to decide on a college. He wanted to be a veterinarian, so he had narrowed down his choices to Texas A&M and Colorado State, two of the top vet programs in the country. But he was truly torn. We talked about it and prayed for clarity together for weeks.
