King Henry VIII dissolved the convents and monasteries and confiscated their properties. Today, Religious Communities exist within Anglicanism that, while not being «Orders» exactly like those in the Catholic Church, do live a consecrated lifestyle characterized by vows, a Rule, and a mission.
