Title: The Reluctant Queen - The Story of Esther Author: Lin Wilder Genre: Christian Historical Fiction, Ancient World Historical Romance Book Blurb: I'm called Esther-a Persian name, and yet I'm a Hebrew. Had I been able to do so, one of the questions I would have asked my mother and father when I grew older was, "Why did you give me this name?" But now, of course, I know why. The story of the orphaned Jewish girl who saves the Jewish nation from extinction is the stuff of fantasy and legend.

Interview with Claudia Procula from I, Claudia: A Novel of the Ancient World by Lin Wilder I am Claudia Procula, wife of Lucius Pontius Pilate. My husband has been dead for several decades now. Like me, Lucius is the subject of vast ignorance, lies, and injustice. The very name Pontius Pilate has become synonymous with cowardice and betrayal. Those who claim to know the substance of my dream believe it emanates from evil.
