Who should own media monitoring?
Let us begin with a proposition that appears philosophical but is increasingly operational. Who owns the sky? Nations regulate airspace. Corporations commercialise orbits and the infrastructure. Satellites inhabit mapped coordinates. Aerospace firms compete to industrialise near-Earth space with astonishing regularity. Well, everyone wants a piece of it, yet the sky itself remains fundamentally unownable. What emerges instead is a shared dependency.

Breaking PR’s glass ceiling: What’s holding back the 10X surge?
Let’s start with some good news—the Indian PR industry is growing fast. According to PRCAI, Ipsos, and Astrum, the industry hit Rs 2,500 crore in FY23 and is projected to double to Rs 5,000 crore by FY30. That’s solid progress. But here’s what excites me—if we’re already on track for 2X growth, why stop there? Why not aim higher—why not push for 10X? Look at how industries around us have exploded.
India’s PR Industry is set to double-But What’s Stopping us from 10X Growth?

AI's PR shake-up: What to expect?
Authored by Aakriti Bhargava, Co Founder, Wizikey The world of public relations is undergoing a seismic shift, propelled by the relentless march of technology. As a co-founder of Wizikey and a seasoned PR practitioner, I have been fortunate to witness this transformation firsthand. The last two decades have seen significant changes, but nothing compares to the quantum leap we have experienced in the past year alone, largely driven by the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

When in school, there is always only one God. The class teacher, especially in early years. If the teacher has said it, it has to be done. It is only when you get closer to teens that you discover a rebel streak. However, during your pre- teens, there is no questioning the almighty i.e the teacher. Moral science classes were the most delightful ones in our day and age.
DoDo - Reputation Today
Have you heard of the Dodo? It was a huge and heavy bird that ran too slow and was caught by sailors for its meat. It was in 17th Century on the Island of Mauritius. I first read of the Dodo when I was eight years old. I read about this in a series of very educative books published by ‘Child Craft’ In the same series I also read about the Mammoth. Now, the mammoth existed about 5 million years ago. It belonged to the family of elephantidae. They were very close resemblance to modern day elephants.

“It’s called project Everest” said Kavikrut, the Chief Growth Officer at OYO. I was intrigued. With a twinkle in his eye, Kavikrut explained how a group of people were all infused with energy towards a goal oriented day, week, month, quarter, year. This was new to me. In a client – agency relationship, the nucleus lies outside of the atom. Most of the time there is a lot of action happening at a clients end, which has a ripple effect on the agency.
Tempe! - Reputation Today
This is the fourth article, and ‘oh! the itch’. You know, I often wonder how the Vedas happened, or how did one understand the value of creation at the time of writing such deep literature. I ponder over Leonardo Da Vinci’s patience, and his ability to produce intense art. Of course, one is tempted to believe that his quote, “art is never finished, only abandoned,” comes from deep humility. What is this getting to? I refer to the conundrum – stay consistent. You hear this in practically everything.

“Can do better.” I struggled with this feedback on my performance all through my school life. The foundations that build us, make the core of all of us. It’s hard to change that. I was good at learning. I did what my teacher did. I gave the same advice. This can be better, I would tell all. Eye roll. Smirk. Shrug. Poker face. Subterfuge. Reactions that I get when I give this feedback. It’s almost rocket science to find out what ‘better’ can be. There’ll soon be a time when we will be able to read thoughts.

The trouble with most of us is that we think we feel liable to answer or solve everything. When our colleagues, mostly people younger than us, approach us with a problem, we feel a duty to solve. When innocent pairs of eyes look up to us, like a lamb at mother sheep, to get her out of a situation, we do just that. The reality is that, we do not solve, we protect. We complicate. Wolf … wolf. ‘Whaaaat?’ You must be thinking. This seems to be anti-thesis to what we have been taught all our lives.
Ala Systema! - Reputation Today
“Do what makes you happy,” – Now, every philosopher in this world would agree that this lies beneath the purpose of life. One – Do Something, Two – It should make you happy. Period. But aren’t we all stuck in the mess that ‘doing something’ requires us to do. I love Public Relations. I love the art of changing perceptions. But, that also requires me to go to office everyday, ‘documentation’, people management, reports or vice versa.
