Widens access to information by multiplying content-creators; creates disincentives/ financial barriers for creating content that goes deep
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Having a commitment to uncovering and disseminating true stories and experiences from voices that might otherwise get ignored or silenced

MSOffice, LibreOffice, Google Docs, Capture One, DaVinci Resolve, Hindenburg, Zoom H4n, Canon 800D

Why did you become a journalist?
Knowing I needed to write about those who strive to improve the world better with limited resources, while wanting more reach to do it
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm most proud of editing the upcoming Beautiful Solutions book, about grassroots solutions in 11 different topic areas from around the world

Espresso!

At the bookstore I work at or outside by the pond

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
A lot of people don't really know that it exists, that "solutions journalism" is a thing distinctly different from human interest stories
