Having the chance to speak with Black businesses owners about their experiences of racism in Victoria, B.C.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Never stop learning. Accept that you're never going to be an expert on everything.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Hiking a mountain or jumping into the ocean.
