Social media is changing news due to the fact that it seems like anyone can report news, and it may not always be truthful.

Why did you become a journalist?
My peers have acclaimed my writing skills since high school. Around that time is when I started taking journalism classes and enjoyed it.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes, I did the sports section. I was also the anchor for our weekly news broadcast.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I recently wrote about Texas A&M partnering with NASCAR and IndyCar for a partnership. I'm a big racing fan so, combining the two was great.
