By Aaron Solomon/The Hill On Easter morning, President Trump took to Truth Social and issued a statement that would have been unthinkable from any other modern American president. Just reading it was visceral: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran,” he wrote a little after 8 a.m. “Open the F–kin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell — JUST WATCH.

Posted Nov 14, 2024 Standing on Less Shaky Ground: ‘Guthrie’ Decision Impact on NY Wage and Hour Matters Guthrie not only increases the threshold for establishing “concrete harm” for standing purposes, it also notes that the mere fact that a person’s ability to pursue enforcement of a statutorily guaranteed right does not automatically confer standing in other matters.
Standing on Less Shaky Ground: 'Guthrie' Decision Impact on NY Wage and Hour Matters
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit’s recent decision in Guthrie v. Rainbow Fencing, 2024 WL 3997427 (2d Cir. Aug. 30, 2024) will make it more difficult for employees to allege Article III standing in federal court to pursue claims under the New York Wage Theft Prevention Act (WTPA). The Power of Nonviolence
The essence of nonviolence is love. Out of love and the willingness to act selflessly, strategies, tactics, and techniques for a nonviolent struggle arise naturally. Nonviolence is not a dogma; it is a process. Other struggles may be fueled by greed, hatred, fear, or ignorance, but a nonviolent one cannot use such blind sources of energy, for they will destroy those involved and also the struggle itself.

How to lead in times of crisis
By Meredith Parfet and Aaron Solomon4 minute Read The novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, is a case study in uncertainty. Nobody knows how long the outbreak will last or how bad it will be. Everyone makes mistakes and thus everyone needs to know how to apologize effectively. Many lawyers are already aware of the importance of an apology in the context of avoiding litigation. In the age of Twitter and instant availability, if you do not fill the information vacuum someone else will.
