Aaron Anthony Wohl, born on May 14, 1974, in Durham, North Carolina, is a distinguished Emergency Medicine Physician whose life journey and career testify to his unwavering dedication, passion for learning, and deep-seated commitment to serving his community. Raised in Perrine, Florida, his early years were characterized by an eagerness to connect with others and an insatiable appetite for knowledge. In high school, he worked diligently at a pet store in Kendall to fund his flying lessons, achieving his private pilot's license at 17. His journey in medicine began in college, where he served as an emergency room technician at a local hospital, sharing his workplace with his father, an emergency nurse. His academic pursuits led him to Florida International University, where he graduated Magna cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology in 1998. He excelled at the University of Florida College of Medicine, graduating in the top 10% of his class in 2001.

His medical training culminated with an exceptional tenure as Chief Resident at Orlando Regional Medical Center, earning him the "Resident of the Year" award in 2004. He initiated guidelines to mitigate prescription opioid abuse and worked relentlessly to increase accessibility to Naloxone.

His efforts were crucial in launching a naloxone distribution program in 2015 and developing a Buprenorphine induction protocol in 2018. His advocacy extends to ensuring the voices of employed emergency physicians are heard, especially in conflicts between patient care and administrative interests. Wohl practices across various Florida locations, actively seeking ways to improve the continuum of care for ER patients with substance use disorders in Charlotte County.
