Aaron M. Petras is a Marketing Manager and current graduate student at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Petras, along with his mother, father, and sister, grew up in La Crescent, on the southeastern border of Minnesota, and in La Crosse, on the southwestern edge of Wisconsin. He was born in La Crosse, and his family moved across the Mississippi River to La Crosse when he was two. He was an avid athlete as a young boy, often spending his free time playing baseball, football, and basketball.
Academic Background
Petras is currently working towards his MBA in Marketing and is on track for graduation in Spring 2023. He previously earned his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, from Viterbo University in 2019.
In 2012, Petras graduated from La Crescent High School. Afterward, he began earning general college credits locally at Western Wisconsin Tech in La Crosse before transferring to Viterbo University.
Career Goals
As is the case with most young adults in their 20s, Petras’ ultimate career goal is still a work-in-progress. His education and interest in marketing and advertising are pointing him toward becoming a creative director at an advertising agency. However, Petras also envisions pursuing an entrepreneurial career path. He is open to the possibility of monetizing his passion for stand-up comedy by opening his own comedy club. No matter where his career journey takes him, Petras consistently demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for marketing and advertising and believes it will continue to influence his career choices.
