Why did you become a journalist?

With a journalism career, you will meet many new people that you may not have met otherwise. You will get to know people from all walks of life and have the opportunity to hear their stories. This can allow you to gain a new perspective that will benefit you both in your career and life.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Journalism tends to be a competitive, cutthroat industry, where some will use any type of advantage to get above others in the field. But hold your own. Stay true. Be real. Reach the top of your craft by using skill, personality and uniqueness.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
